NEW CENTURY LEADERS

Douglas and Coffee County has always enjoyed a highly respected
reputation for its progressive leadership and quality of life.
One of the reasons for its success in these areas is our
commitment to leadership development.
The New Century Leaders program was established in 1990
for that purpose.
Participants in New Century Leaders commit to an eight-month
project that allows them to take a close look at government,
education, economic development, and all issues dealing with
quality of life on a local and state level.
The program is designed to help participants develop
leadership skills for the workplace and the community.
The Chamber is proud to announce the New Century Leaders Class
of 2011: Sarah Brown (FNBCC); Wes Brown (SGC); Judy Carter and
Joann Robinson (City of Douglas); Corey Carver (DNB); Kim Harris
(Coffee Correctional); Tonja Hulett (BK North);
Andrea Taylor and
Mesha Johnson (Chamber of Commerce); Scott Miller (Colony Bank);
Laura Steverson (CRMC); Lisa Tomberlin (WGTC); Sharon Vickers
(Shady Acres); Kim Wade (CC Teachers Credit Union); and Renita
Ward (Premium Waters).
